Omni Home Design Ltd has been on the Companies House register since 11 October 2010 — over fifteen years of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and the building work behind them, almost all of it within a few miles of Redbourn. Stephen designs the room and runs the job; there is nobody in between.
The story
Small on purpose, and honest about what that means.
Most kitchen companies are showrooms first. A designer sells you the room, hands the drawing to an installation department, and you never see them again. Omni is the other shape entirely: the person who sits down with you at the first consultation is the person who draws it, orders it, organises the trades and is standing in the room when the worktop is templated.
The method has not really changed since 2010: understand the room, understand what the household needs from it, draw it properly, show it to you in 3D, and only then order anything. The cabinetry is sourced and manufactured for that drawing rather than picked from stock, which is what makes the awkward corners and the odd-width runs possible — and it is why the lead time is six to eight weeks rather than next Tuesday.
Being small has limits and we would rather name them than pretend otherwise. We hold no trade-body memberships to put on a badge wall. We are not a showroom chain, and we cannot start next week. What we can do is give you the same person from the first conversation to the last, take on the building work rather than subcontracting the awkward half of it, and put a written figure in front of you before anybody opens a wall.

Omni Home Design Ltd has had the same two directors, both from the same family, since the company was incorporated on 11 October 2010. It is a deliberately small operation: no sales floor, no account managers, no handing you on.
